FWIW, I am always amused when I get a message saying that someone wants
to recall a message. Aside from the linguistic confusion of using
"re-call" for something that one's doing for the first time (i.e.,
shouldn't it just be "Joe would like to call that message"? And if he
can't "recall" it, how did he remember which message to "recall"?), I
tend to read the "recalled" message first - to find out why joe decided
it shouldn't have been sent.
I'm sure there are legitimate uses, but one can't rely on the feature.
