Re directing Junk Mail

I always hear people saying that a piece of mail got Œthrown in their Junk
Mail box¹ and they didn¹t see it. This seems to suggest that you can set
your mail program to detect ŒJunk¹ BEFORE it gets to your regular
folders....can you do this in Entourage? I have a ŒJunk¹ folder, but it
looks as though all the mail in there is what I manually send there.

I work on Entourage 2008, Leopard OS, Mac Pro

Thanks in advance for your help...

Peggy,

My e-mail gets sent into Junk in two ways:
I have Junk E-mail Protection turned on; find it on the Tools menu. I have
my protection set to High.

I also have a Rule (see Rules on the Tools menu) that sends mail from
certain senders (or received via certain addresses that I rarely use) to
Junk. If you want to learn how to create a rule, search for "create a rule"
in Entourage Help under the Help menu.
