Re-installing Office XP to new PC and removing Office XP from curr

Louie Lou

Hello;
Can I reinstall my purchased (retail store) copy of Office XP to a new PC if
the copy was originally installed in a laptop? Also, since I am selling the
laptop and removing all apps, can I reinstall the same copy of Office XP to
my new laptop? This will keep me with still two machines, PC and laptop,
with the Office XP installed. Please help.

From the info you provide, sounds ok to me. Read in the End user
License agreement (in Help/about) that you can have two copies of Office
for your own use on two machines (desktop and laptop, for example).

It's OEM licenes that are often not transferrable.

But read your license. Mileage may vary.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Hi Louie,

You can view the End User License Agreement (EULA) through
the help menu in your Office XP apps or from searching
for the file EULA10R.CHM on your hard drive and double
clicking it.

Rob; Thanks so much for the reply. Do you know how I can view the EULA? >>
