I now this may sound odd but I have a user complaining that he has tracking messages with read before the message got out!!
Let me explain
The user makes an e-mail, puts delivery and read receipts options on and sends the e-mail. When he checks it on the Sent folder the message has already the Tracking tab and the Read for some recipients is already filled sometimes with a date/time well in the past!!
When he finally receives the read receipt he opens it and back in the tracking of the message that user of the read receipt has the time/date correct correctly!! But for the users that didn't sent the read receipt yet it still shows them with the read and incorrect data/time (in the past!!!
We are running W2K3 in 2k3 native mode for domain with E2K3 for the mail server, XP with SP1 and OL2003 for the client side. All the machines have the same time/date (checked and rechecked this time and again)
I've found Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 820368 - OL2002: The Incorrect Date and Time Appears for Read Receipts - but this is for OL2002 and the cause is not the same (the article explains that this may happen when you Reply All a message previously sent), everytime this happens is with a new message from scratch!!
Any ideias anyone
Thank
