Read-only Sharepointusers promted for a login for an InfoPath form

Hi!

I have an InfoPath form published to a Sharepint form library created in the
publish wizard. I have read-only visitors as well as another goup of
contributors set up on the Sharepoint site. When opening a form, the visitors
are prompted for a login several times but clicking cancel enough makes the
login go away and the form will eventually open read-only as desired. Is
there a setting in InfoPath causing the login prompt? I cannot find anything
in Sharepoint other than versioning is turned on and that visitors
(read-only) can only view major versions of a document.

Thanks!

Pam

Hello,

We can’t give the enter log in option to the user from InfoPath. But we can
implement User Roles functionality in InfoPath. Depends on the User Role we
can open the form editable or read only.
