Can anyone tell me if Entourage Mac can request a Read Receipt like the PC
versions can?

That page is a bit on the terse side. For clearer step-by-step instructions,
see www.basilweb.net/macoffice/receipt1.html (I followed them only an hour
ago, and I'm now enjoying this feature).

No idea, Steve, I am hoping for the same.

I am on Entourage X on 10.3.5, and for confirmation that documents have been
distributed I need at least a read receipt.

Hopefully someone can guide us?

Very clear instructions Walt indeed.

BUT I have followed them and run a test and the little notification does
not come up unless I specifically tell Entourage to run that rule on that
email.

Any tips?

Usually when that happens, another rule is taking precedence. That's my
only guess as to what the problem could be. Do you have another rule
that tells the filter not to follow any other rules? This is an option
you check for each particular rule.

I'll try, but I did move the return receipt rule to the top of the list so
it should run that one first.

NO. NO joy.

In fact it never runs any rules automatically unless I select the emails and
tell Entourage to run a specific rule
