read receipts 'stuck' in Outlook trying to be sent by...

I have two read receipts 'stuck' in Outlook trying to be sent by an email
account which I now only recieve messages on. Because read reciepts do not
appear in the outbox I am unable to delete them and outlook keeps trying to
send them vian SMTP server which I can't log on to via my BT ISP. Any one
help please, thanks.
