read receipts - where are they ????

Where does Outlook store read receipts that have been sent or are waiting to be sent ? I have 2 email accounts that I use thru Outlook, and one of them is 'incoming only'. I inadvertently clicked on 'send a receipt' for a messaage sent to this account and I am now getting constant messages about the connection to the server failing when trying to send from this account. There are no message in my outbox, so I can only assume that this read receipt is pending somewhere and I need to find it and get rid of it so these messages will stop. This is driving me crazy !

Sadly, they're in a place you can't get to with the Outlook user interface.
You can, however, change the outgoing server for that account to point to
the outgoing server that you *can* send on, and they should be sent.
