Reading and storage of emails???

The Entourage database in your backup maybe un-searchable. I do not know if
spotlight has the capibility. I do not know how retrospect works but if the
file formats are kept, you can just try copying the backed up Microsoft Use
Data folder of the Backup to HD > Users > Documents - Rename The Microsoft
User Data file that is there First, Entourage only looks at a file named
Microsoft User Data in the Documents folder unless you use an aliase). Does
my spell check work?

I backup my computer using Retrospect.

I want to retrieve an email that I believe is on a backup Retrospect
volume. Where does Entourage store emails? All I can find is a
database and it is not searchable.

Entourage stores it's email in a database and yes it's not searchable. You
will have to bring over the entire database for the search.
