Rebuilding identity database in Entourage

I have been unable to access Entourage for several days. The error
message said I needed to rebuild the database. I have been
communicationg with Darlene at Microsoft after paying the fee and have
gotten to the point where I am supposed to double click to open the
Databse Utility screen and select rebuild. I use Office:Mac v.X
professional edition. I can't find anything remotely titled databse
utility. I certainly miss having Entourage and my calendar available.
Any ideas where to find this utility?

There is no standalone Database Utility in Office X; that is new in Office
2004. Instead, start Entourage X holding down the Option key. When the
Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do an Advanced Rebuild.

I am finally up in Entourage but not completely. When I first tried
compacting it failed because the end of the file was reached. I then
did the advanced build. I did not know if I should answer yes to
importing anything so I did not. I could see that my email was there.
Now my calendar is not accessible. restore it or get it working When
I click on Calendar I get "Could not open that feature. Mail error."
How do I get Calendar to work again. I would love to restore all the
entries in it but at this point I would be happy just ot have it
available again.

End of file .....The file that has reached it's end is often the preferences
file. Move the 'Microsoft' folder out of your local preferences folder and
try again. If this fails, end of file means the file is too corrupted to
rebuild.
