Recalcuate totals based on autofilter

Is it possible to get totals to recalculate based on the autofilter applied

ie. Users want one row of totals for the columns below, they want to filter to just see the rows for one supplier and have the totals row re-calculate against what is currently shown on screen

I'm guessing this will be a macro either applied to a shortcut or button or the autofilter action, but I have no idea how to do it
