Hallo, we've got a great problem.
we're using a apple PowerMac G4 with OS X 10.4.9 and Microsoft Office
2004.
In Entourage we 've created 10 email-acounts which are all pop3 and
all are located on 1&1 root-server un 2 different domains. The acounts
of one domain are running very good, the other (4 of 5 of the second
domain) are connected to the server and after a short time (2-5 sec)
comes an error message (-17895) that the connection not availiable. Is
there a restriction in entorurage to manage only 5 or 6 acounts. The
OS is fresh installes und also the Office 2004. This problem take
effect since changing the domain-provider.

Can anyone help me!!

There is no restriction on number of accounts.

You don¹t mention what version of Office you have installed. It¹s imperative
that you have updated since installing to get the DST fix as well as other
improvements.

This error is not listed on the Error Page, but -18897 is listed and often
errors close in number have similar solutions.

If you install tcpflow it will monitor your traffice between Entourage and
your server so you can see what is failing. See directions here:
