recent open files listed task pane

the task pane in the past listed the recent/history of files opened. this no
longer is true, please put it back.....

Hi Danny,

Microsoft hasn't changed the product to remove that information

What version of which Office app? What is the setting for file
history in Tools=>Options=>General?

Are you using one of the MS Windows Powertoys such as TweakUI to
turn off some of the 'tracking' data?
