recordset Dynaset -vs- dynaset (inconsitant updates)

Hi I have a form with a lot of table relationshsips.
When I have it set to synaet it allows me to enter a new
record with all the linked tables. However as soon as I
add this one other table, I an unable to do so unless I
set it to dynaset (inconsitant updates)

Can anyone tell me why this would happen? Is it
significant? How do I just use dynaset?
