recurring items in calendar -- overdue

S

sideshowblah

I have a few Macs (OS X.2 & .3) running on a new Windows
2003/Exchange2003 server. Up until this month they were connected to
an older WinNT4/Exchange55 Svr and running Outlook in classic mode.
Once switched over to the new Exchange2003 Server they migrated over
to Entourage X for their mail client. Now every time they open
Entourage all of the recurring items in their calendar (if they have
any) popup as "overdue" in a list. if you open any of them, the due
dates are all in the future and they can be dismissed. But it is an
annoyance. Has anyone else seen this behavior or know what might be
wrong here?

thanks

In Entourage, recurring events' start date is perceived to be the original
start date of the first occurrence. There must be some way that's intruding
using Exchange synchronization. I expect they'll have this fixed for the
next version. In the meantime, I'm sorry I don't know of any workaround, but
there may be one since so much to do with Exchange seems to depend on
individual configuration of the server. Perhaps someone else will be more
familiar with this issue.
