redirect incoming mail is not present in rules and alerts

In creating a rule, I don't have the option to redirect mail, I can only
forward.
In forwarding, the rule automaticaly creats a message in my inbox leaving me
with double messages. Why is it that rediretcion option is not present in the
list of options?

the redirect option is for exchange accounts only. forward the message as
attachment so the recipient can reply directly to the sender.
