Neo2000
Hi! I'm planning a deploy of Office 2003 with SMS. Created
administrative installs, only one thing is bugging me. Poeple used to
have Office XP. Some people have the photoeditor as the default image
handler. As you can guess, the photoeditor is removed when removing
Office XP, through the Office 2003 MST's. The office 2003 picture
manager is installed too. But this needs to get started once, before it
asks the user if it should register certain picture filetypes. would
like to automate this using the MST's. The porblem now is, that users
*have* to start the picture manager, make it the default handler for
pictures before they can even open up pictures. (after removal of
office XP, the association's completely gone..) Any way around this?
Anyone know the regsettings to register the filetypes during setup..?
Thanks in advance..!
