Relative Subdocuments

When I programmatically add subdocuments to a master document, how can I force them to have relative addresses instead of absolute addresses?
We need to be able to copy the master and subdocuments from computer to computer/

Never mind. The problem was fixed by installing Service Pack 1 to Word 2002.
