relocate Office folders to another drive?

I'm running out of space on drive1 (only 5% free space remaining, too little
for defrag to work well) and would like to relocate the Office 2000 program
directories to drive2 which has plenty of space. Is there an easy way to
move everything and have all registry entries be automatically updated with
the new folder locations? The PC is running XP Pro.

Office doesn't always do well with being 'moved'
by a utility. Uninstalling then installing to
a new location is a safer route. For your data files
you can relocate those independently of the program.

Note, however, that Office will put a portion
of its files into the drive Windows is on
even if you select another drive for the main
program files.

You can't move a software installation to another location and expect it to
work.
Reinstall it on the other partition/drive.
