In Outlook and I can set an option to append ">" before the message text of
messages I am replying to. I do not see that option in Entourage. Is that
slated to be added?

Hi,

the way text is quoted in Entourage depends on the format in which an email
is sent. Text in an HTML email is usually indented in replies, while plain
text is quoted with the ">" character. So to have this character show up,
convert your email to plain text by clicking on the red/blue "abab" icon on
the left side of the formatting toolbar. If you want to have access to HTML
formatting, you can hit that button again afterwards, and the quoted text
will still have the ">" character at the beginning of every line.

Alternatively, in a reply to an HTML email, select the text you'd like to
have the ">" character, then right-click and choose Auto Text
Cleanup>Increase Quoting from the contextual menu.
