Hi all,

I have Entrourage 2004 for Mac OS X.

Every time I open the software up I¹m asked for the passwords for my
accounts (email).

I always check Œremember password¹. This only seems to work until I close
Entourage 2004 again.

Is there a way to keep the password remembered forever!

Thanks.

Open the app ŒKeychain Access¹, and select ŒKeychain First Aid¹ from the
ŒKeychain Access¹ menu. If that doesn¹t work, delete the keychain entries
and let entourage recreate them next time it tries to log in.

Ditto...... I have the same problem but not all the time. Mine seems
to forget the password every few days. I look forward to tips on how to
keep the password remembered.

There's a problem with your email settings - incorrect account ID is
likely. It's hard to say without seeing your settings. The account ID
is going to be your entire email address, not just your screen name.

Tools -> Accounts ->Highlight account name ->Edit

You may also need to check with your ISP to see what your POP or IMAP
(incoming mail) and your SMTP (outgoing mail) settings should be .

See if that helps.

Another option would be that the keychain entry has become corrupted. Delete
the entry from the keychain, and let entourage recreate it by entering the
password one more time, and checking the 'remember password' box.
