I have set up a recurring task (Outlook 2003) with reminder to remember to
submit my timesheet every Monday morning. If for some reason I have not
dismissed the previous reminder (and the next task falls due) then no
reminder occurs for the 'next' event.
In the task pane the "old" task appears in red with the start date of the
"forgotten" event.
It would be useful if either the system kept reminding you even though the
time has past (I seem to get in this state when my PC is not switched on when
the event "occurs"). Or the system recognises this is a recurring event and
automatically triggers the next occurrence when the previous one has past.
