Reminder's not reminding.

I have my reminder's set to reminded me of meetings etc.
However the reminders only pop up after a restart of
Outlook. Is there something that needs to be changed to
get them to pop up as they should?

I had the same problem.
Try starting Outlook with /cleanreminders.
To do that, click Start, Run, and type the following:
outlook /cleanreminders

That's "outlook" a space, a forward slash (on the same
key as the question mark) and "cleanreminders" with no
spaces. This will 'clean' a corrupt reminders list.
It worked for me.
You only need to do that once. After that you can start
Outlook the normal way (until it corrupts again).
