I use vpn tracker 5 to link to my office exchange server when away from the office. It works great at home. But I can not access from hotels. I have been told it is a firewall issue and the only solution is to buy a $3,000 piece of hardware to install in the office. Any other suggestions? When I used windows, it was never an issue accessing the office via an https address.

If you're using an external HTTPS address then you shouldn't need VPN
tracker at all.

Are you able to connect to your company's OWA server from the hotels? If
so then Entourage 2008 should be able to connect. What version of
Exchange Server are they using?

Be sure to have a look at these settings for accessing your Exchange
account outside of your company network. They apply to Entourage 2008 as
well.

Hope this helps!
