remotely access folders on my computer

Hello. I have entourage 2008 set up for exchange account. When my mailbox
quota is reached, i archive my older messages to a folder on my computer
(local).
I would like to know if its possible to share the local folder over the web?
Ive seen some options for outlook to publish pst archives on the web via html.

is there something similar for entourage mbox or database files?
i've seen on windows aid2mail, but this means i have to drag my mbox file to
windows then run the program, less than ideal.
i've seen devonthink pro which will index the mbox files, and create web
server, but only allows you to search the database, but not view it in its
entirety.

i'm open to any suggestions?

Well you can share *a* local folder over the Web, but Entourage uses a
monolithic database. You can't have the On My Computer data shared on a
Web-accessible folder.

You'd need to export the e-mails. You can export them through drag and
drop, generating what's essencially an mbox, but that won't, in any way,
be in sync or integrated in Entourae anymore.

Thank you Corentin

What I'm really after is having online access to my "on my computer" folders.
basically, my exchange account is limited to 100mb , but i want to have
access to all my email, including the older one.

i dont mind if its not in sync, as i could resync it every month of so (its
just old messages), but i would have no way to 'publish' them online in any
useful manner.

the programs i mention at least convert it to a html interface for online
perusal of the messages, or set up a web server to allow searching of the
indexed database.

i'm looking for something similar, but maybe a little bit more user friendly.
thanks for any suggestions

Well, one way that could work for you might be to use EagleFiler and
store the database on an online folder.
The application can import your e-mails, store them in a conveniently
accessible database and you can open the database from anywhere.
The application is shareware, but you can try it out to see if it suits
you.
the programs i mention at least convert it to a html interface for online

EagleFiler will not convert to HTML. It'll make a database you can open
through other computers using EagleFiler as well.
To have it all as HTML, I would take something like a gMail account, set
it up as IMAP and copy everything inside.
All e-mail will be accessible from any computer through IMAP in an
e-mail client or HTML on the gMail server.
That might be a smarter move.
