remove automatically added names to the address book

After years of using microsoft products, including it's mail programs,
we've accumilated a lot of names in our address book that we just don't
want, or ever wanted in there, actually.

What I mean is, is not a name we manually go in and add, but those
names that entourage automatically adds when we receive an email. Is
there a way to remove those names? When I go into the address book,
those names don't show up.

If I can't delete them, is there a way to turn off that feature?
