Remove deleted public folder contacts from outlook address book

I am trying to remove deleted public folders from a users outlook address
book. I have gone through the process of Tools/Services/Outlook Address
Book/Properties and removed the address books. I have restarted outlook but
they still appear in his address book when he composes and email. I go back
to Tools/Services/Outlook Address Book/Properties and those address books
that are still in the list are not showing up under the Outlook Addres Book
Properties. Please advise on what I need to do.
