If you want to remove all of Office, you can do so using the Remove Office
tool in the /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/ folder. However, I would
suggest you keep Entourage if you plan to keep Office, as it manages the
database which is used across all four applications. If you really have no
desire to use Entourage, just launch it, and go to Entourage > Turn Off
Office Notifications, and then go to Tools > Accounts and delete all of the
accounts. Quit.
Then, open System Preferences, and then click Accounts. Find your account,
and then click the "Login Items" tab. If you see "Microsoft Database
Daemon" or "My Day" in the list, select and delete it/them.
