Remove Highlighting does not work.

I can't remove the highlighting feature on some selected text in a Word
Document by using the button NONE on the highlighting tool. The original Doc
was done in Office 2003 & is being edited in Office 2003. I can highlight
with another color but I can not get that highlight off once it's on.

Perhaps the highlighting indicates the presence of a comment?

Just a wild guess here -- sometimes what looks like highlighting is
really applied by the paint bucket as a background. Try hitting each
occasion of the hightlight with paint = none (or white) and see what
happens. I haven't been able to select a whole document and do it in
one step, though. Kind of a PITA.
