Removing Attachments Does Not Remove From Server

Using Entourage 2004 with latest updates.

It's easy to remove attachments from messages in a folder - it removes them
only from the messages stored in the Entourage database.

It does not remove the attachments from the messages store on the Exchange
server.

Is there any way to remove them from the server too?

Sorry - just found the answer in an earlier message. It's simply does not
update the server and there is no un-complicated workaround.

That is too bad. Editing and removing attachments was one of the
greatest function in Outlook for me. I'd like to keep the entire e-mail
conversation for tracking purpose but do not like to leave a huge mail
box in server.

On a related note, then does Entourage have the archiving functionality
that Outlook 2003 has? It is another great way of keeping the file
small at the server side.
