Removing attachments with Exchange Server

Can you do it?

Before I had to use this Exchange Server, I could select the attachment
sent to me and then simply hit the "remove" button and it would remove
it so that I can save the email body only.

I can't do that now. The "remove" button doesn't come out of "gray."

Am I doing something wrong?

That's a known issue. I don't know of any workaround at this time.
