Removing BCM without screwing things up

I installed microsoft office 2003 edition professional with BCM and it
installed sqlserver. After installing office I don't need BCM. I'm just using
the contacts or are these two connected somehow.
Can I and will uninstalling remove all of the BCM and sqlserver and all
enteries in the registry? Or would it just be better to leave things alone.
sqlserve seems to keep growing in the processes running. Not a huge issue
but annoying.
