Removing days header and attachment view in Entourage mail

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: imap I'm a new Mac user and using Entourage mail. I have two questions:

Remove days headers: When viewing my inbox, each days mail is headed by a row that gives the actual day (Today, Yesterday, Saturday, Friday, etc.) Is there any way to remove these?

Remove attachment view as default: When i view an email in my inbox, the attachments view automatically is open. This takes up some viewing space for my actual mail. I can click the little arrow to condense, but is there any way to change the default so it doesn't automatically view this?

Go to the View menu (make sure you do not have a message open)
Go down the menu to Arrange By > turn off “Show in Groups”
