Removing hyperlinks in Outlook 2003

Hi Folks,
Copied several hyperlinks from a document then pasted them into the 'notes'
pane in Outlook's "Contacts".

(1). How do I remove these hyperlinks?

(2). How do I add hyperlinks to e-mails I'm sending out?

Please help a novice who doesn't speak jargon.

1, Select the URLs and Press Del?
2. Paste them into the message body?

You should always use text links, not hyperlink files as attachments.
