Removing names from auto-fill in

I'm in the lastest version of Entourage for Mac using Tiger.

How can I get rid of names from auto-fill in? Especially names that are
bringing up dead email addresses, even after I've changed and put in the new
correct name and email address. This is maddening.

In Entourage>Preferences, under Mail & News Preferences, Compose, you'll see
a section labelled Recent Addresses. If you hit the Clear List button, the
current cache will be emptied, and you will no longer be nagged by old
e-mail addresses. You can also choose to disable that feature altogether.

Note that the MRU (Most Recently Used) AutoComplete List (yes, that's what
it's called!) is limited to 200 entries, meaning that over time, as you get
more e-mail messages from different people, these invalid and unused
addresses will get purged.
