Removing someone as junk mail recipient when you cant find them in the list?

HI
I belong to a bulletin board for which I have a separate folder and
mail rule which directs these messages directly into that folder.
Unfortunately, for some reason, a copy of each message also goes into
my junk mail folder. I have tried going through my list of senders from
the junk mail rule list many times and I can't seem to find anything
that even remotely resembles something that would come from this
sender.

What can I do? I really am sick of getting each message twice and
having to delete them daily.

thanks :)

Hey Machelle:

Try Tools>Options>Preferences

There should be a button there called Junk Mail at the top

Under the button there should be a tab called safe senders. Enter the domain
of the email you are getting and it should stop sending them to junk mail.

Hi
In outlook 2002 there was no junk mail button when I tried:
Tools>Options>Preferences . It did make me think of trying something
else that worked though:

I put the domain name in the exceptions list of the rules.. I think
that did it!

thanks

What version of Outlook? It is often more than the sender that determines
whether or not something is classed as junk. The content of the message
also contributes.

If you're seeing two copies, then you have a rule that is doing the sorting
and that rule doesn't have the "stop processing more rules" action on it.
Look in the Rules Wizard for the problem.
