Removing Synchronizing Window with Entrouage 2004 + ExchangeServer

Hi -

I just installed Entourage 2004 and I constantly get an annoying
"Synchronizing with..." window that pops up whenever it is syncronizing. Can
this window be removed?

Also with Entrouage X, whenever someone would send me an email over the LAN,
I would get it immediately, now it takes 5 minutes. Can someone tell me why?
