removing the protection from objects

Hi!

I want to protect my sheet that contains some VB objects
(comboboxes, checkboxes etc). The problem is that even if I
unlock them in the properties of the object, after
protecting the sheet I still get the message that the
object is protected! I tried protecting via the code but I
get the same result.

please help!

Mike,

If your combo box has a cell link, then it may be the cell to which it's
linked that's raising the protection error. Protecting a combo box protects
it from being changed (its cell link, or other properties), but doesn't
protect it from use.
