Rename Subject on Exchange

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I want to rename the subject line with an exchange account. I have already downloaded the edit_subject script and it works with my local account. But when I move the renamed email to an exchange public folder the email has it's origin subject again.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Messages on the Exchange server aren't edit-able.
