Repeated login prompt in Microsoft Project Web Access

We are having a problem with a few users constantly getting prompted
for login and password when going to Project web from their
workstations.
The problem does not occur, when they go to another workstation or use
a terminal server to access Project web.
All of these affected users are local admins, and it only happens to a
handful.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there a known entry in the registry that can be changed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The web component has been installed.
The problem just started to occur recently for the users.
Nothing different has been installed on these users machines in
comparison to the other 500 that do not have the problem.

I'm seeing the same thing, but to all users that have upgrade to XP OS. any
help will be greatly appreciated
