Helpless at PPT

I frequently have to copy and paste objects onto PPT and find myself having
to resize these objects and cropping them. What's the quickest way to do
this? I was hoping I could create a custome keyboard shortcut to peform this
action, but there doesn't seem to be this function on PPT. Help!

You'll need to create a macro if you want to
perform multiple actions such as this.
I've had success in creating a macro just like
the one you described. Shouldn't be too much trouble -
just type F1 for help, search for "create macro," and
follow the instructions.

If you want to assign the macro to a keystroke or a toolbar,
that's a separate issue.
Go to Tools | Customize... , click on the Commands tab,
and then scroll down in the Categories menu. Click on Macros.
Then, you should see the name of your macro in the "Commands"
pane at right. You can then drag the macro name into a menu or
toolbar. Click Close to close up the Customize menu,
and voila! - your macro is ready for one-click use.

Let us know how it worked...
