Replacing contents of a cell.

I have two columns in one spreadsheet.

Column A's value is originally keyed in.

Column B has a formula to determine its value.

Using the if() function is new to me.

The scenario is as follows:

*If Column B > Column A, copy that value to Column A and replace th
value in Column A.

If Column B < Column A, do not replace the value in Column A.

If Column B = Column A, do not replace the value in Column A.*

Your help wll be greatly appreciated

Hi
you can't do this with a formula. A formula can't change
the value of a different cell. If you need this you'll
need VBA
