I want to replace text with some other form of text, and for thi
purpose used the REPLACE function, which went brilliantly. What I don'
want is for my cell values to actually be '=REPLACE(J239, 1, 1, "")'.
want it to be changed from 'abcdefg' to 'bcdefg' as an actual value fo
example. This way I can paste the damned thing back in on top of th
old values, which are worthless.
Otherwise I have to keep the old values on some other sheet, and hav
all the 'clean data' on another defined as functions that clea
everything on the garbage sheet, which would be significantly less tha
fun. Any ideas? Thank you for your time, especially if this is obviou
