Replacing Outlook 97

I am currently using Office 97, something happened to my
Outlook. I have the original disk to reinstall but
confused on how to do this. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANY OF
MY OTHER OFFICE FILES INCLUDING MY DATABASE. How is this
done.

Backing up your pst-file and pab file will ensure you don't loose any mails
or contacts. Once they are backed up you can reinstall safely.
What is the exact error/behaviour you get from Outlook. Perhaps reinstalling
ins't neccesary.
