Hello,

When I hit the "Reply" button, something strange happends with al my contacts ending with "é". Example: René Janssen send me a message (standard adresbook names, by Exchange), when I reply to him there will be 2 names in the To-box. <Janssen> en René, R. . The most annoying about this problem is when you don't remove the <Janssen>-part, you immidiatly get an email back with: "Exchange was not able to deliver ...".
I have installed every available update till now.

Who can help me?!?
Many thanks from Holland.

Hello,

Well I can't repro the issue.
I really tried and the e-mail never failed in any way.

I first tried with an e-acute at the end of the first name, at the end
of the last name, etc. for the recipient. I use an Exchange 2003 server
from 10.5.6 and Entourage 2008 12.1.4 (well 12.1.5, but Entourage didn't
get a version number bump in this update) and it just works...

I then tried changing my name in the Account setting adding an é at the
end of my first and last name and again, e-mails went right through and
I could reply without any problem.

I suspect I know where the problem might reside though.
All the e-mails I send, never show my name the way I enter it in
Entourage.
The Exchange server sets the From field itself. My name always appears
as "Cras-Meneur, Corentin" no matter what I do (I always enter first
name first and put the accent in my name).
When I add the é at the end, it doesn't appear on the e-mail I receive.

I don't know whether this is standard on Exchange 2003 servers, but I
suspect it's not. It's an option setup by the administrator.
I also suspect that in this case, the address gets messed up because the
*server* is behaving like mine and sets up the From field itself,
messing up the accent encoding and inducing this issue in the process.
If anything, either the server should be patched (updated) to correct
this, or should quit using accents altogether to workaround the issue,
but I am afraid there is nothing that could be done from Entourage,
