Reply to blank HTML Message hangs

Hello,

I am having a problem when I try to reply to an email
message that I recieved from someone who has HTML as there
email format. When I open there message and delete all
text out of the message body and then try to reply to that
message (I use plain text as my message format) Outlook
will hang during the spell checking process. This happens
every time I try to reply in this manner. It is fine if I
leave in the text, but it will hang if I remove it.

Any suggestions?
