Hello. I am a new user to Outlook. I normally use mutt, and before
that, pine, and before that, elm, and before that, any number of BBS
clients. I'm trying to adhere to notions of etiquette from the past
two decades.
I found the Tools -> Options -> Preferences -> E-mail Options thingy
to change the quoting behaviour to prepend with a '> ' and that was
nice.
Now, I want to trim out all the cruft and just add respones within the
context of the relevantly-quoted bits of message that I am replying
to.
But I'm at a loss as to how I type anywhere below the top of the
message without getting that damn blue bar in my way.
Can anyone tell me how to suppress the blue bar in the midst of a
message that I am composing?
Thanks,
-danny
