I have a form that display the contents of a table using text boxes and check
boxes. My recordsource for the form is a query that has search text boxes on
the form as the criteria. Everything on this works fine. The problem is
when they try and add a record. I have a button that pops up a screen to
enter the new customer info. After they close the pop-up form it requerys
the main form using Me.Requery and updates all my text boxes with the new
info. This works about 1 in 5 tries and I'm not sure why sometimes it
doesn't work. If I go into the imediate window and type me.requery it
usually works on about the 3 time I type it. I just keep entering me.requery
until it works. Does anyone have any idea why sometimes it works and
sometimes it doesn't? I thought maybe my recordset needing more time to
update so I put a loop in that waits 5 seconds but that doesn't seem to help.
