Resetting Sync Services

Michelle

I'm trying to follow the directions on this page to reset my Sync Services:
http://www.entourage.mvps.org/troubleshoot/syncservices.html#ss2

I've done steps 1-4. My question comes at Step 5. In my Application
Support folder I have a folder called "SyncService">LastSync Data>. . . .

I also have another folder called "SyncServices" that contains 2 folders:
"Local"
" Local.Thu-2007-08-16-23-12-54"

Am I supposed to delete BOTH the "SyncService" AND the "SyncServices" (with
the "s") folders? Are both of these folders supposed to be here?

No idea where the other one is coming from.

Thanks. I went ahead and deleted the one that you mentioned. I think that
the other may be a by-product of when I had a PDA that I used with iSync &
PocketMac. Does anyone know if it would be safe to go ahead and delete
that information? I no longer use the PDA, so unless that folder is used
for something else, I'm assuming that it could be deleted. It appears that
the folder was last updated in Jan. 07.

I would move it to another location and name it old xxx. If you need it,
you'll find out. When you are satisfied that it's no longer needed, delete
it.
