residential construction costs templates for Excel

i am after if possible a template which will allow me to cost up materials
for a house renovation project ?

thankyou for that modification would be possible, but if possible i would be
after something that could list materials by type and also individual room
costs as well as a total cost section for the whole project as well ?

You can try searching Google. Or try different keywords to search on in the
templates at http://office.microsoft.com. Templates are just a guide --
rarely do they have exactly what we need. It shouldn't be difficult to add
subtotals and totals to an Excel spreadsheet, though, if you find one
similar to what you want.
